Easy to see night colours

Normal 16 colour display

Sunlight visible display

The new Colour Twinscope is more than just a colour LCD version of the popular Twinscope unit. While it retains the important features of the original Twinscope, it offers a new design and many added features that make it even more useful for navigation and fishing:

> sunlight viewable, wide panoramic colour display
> scans forward vertically, and horizontally

> immediate depth and range information with unique screen cursor

>new panoramic colour display with 16:9 aspect ratio

This format allows for improved presentation of split-screen displays, such as when viewing sonar/digital data or traditional depthsounder display with forward-looking sonar simultaneously. With 8 colour levels directly related to target strength, this display will make target identification easier than ever, whether you're navigating a tricky reef or pinpointing a school of gamefish ahead of the boat.

Remote station kit:
Interphase introduces powerful second station remote capability to its new Color Twinscope Sonar System. Perfect for use on a flying bridge, cockpit or other areas where a remote sonar display is desired. Using a unique and easy to install serial link, the two station Color Twinscope System allows either display to act like a 3-dimensional underwater acoustic radar that lets boaters see ahead, below and side to side with the push of a button.

The Colour Twinscope operates like underwater sonic radar, scanning a moving beam over a 90-degree arc either vertically or horizontally ahead of the boat.

In the Forward Vertical scanning mode, this gives the navigator an underwater sonar image of what's ahead from just under the surface to directly below the boat.

In the Forward Horizontal scanning mode, the Colour Twinscope electronically steers a searchlight-like beam from port to starboard across the bow, picking up targets in the 12-degree beam.
